Three Year Old Thoroughbred injured on a dumpster at an Iowa race Track.
This wound was sutured at Iowa State University and had begun to gape open when it arrived at Step Ahead Farm.
Large volumes of Lacerum Gel were utilized to keep the tissue at the wound site viable and to revitalize the blood
supply to achieve healing at the 18 inch long wound.
Due to creative bandaging, the wound did not get contaminated.
This horse was put back into training and returned to race successfully at the race track in Houston.
