This case had been treated with Kopertox prior to arrival, the previous treatments had focused on the
lateral sides of the sulci (frog), but not in the central sulci, or the central area was the most resistant area
of the infection.
Treatments involved thoroughly cleaning the hooves with Eclipse Hoof Treatment (2x as strong as Eclipse
Wound Wash), then placing gauze saturated with Eclipse Hoof Treatment on the affected areas and
bandaging with Vet Wrap.
This was done every third day for two weeks. The infection and fungus cleared up, and normal tissue
developed, which indicated that he had healed.
NOTE With Kopertox, Iodine and other blue lotion tinted products, you are unable to determine if healthy
tissue has arrived due to the tinting factors in the products.
